Hi, I'm Ninad. I design brands and the work that runs on them.

Brand and marketing designer, ten years in. Most recently I led marketing design at Brand #1, an enterprise commerce agency whose clients include big consumer brands. Before that: fintech, esports, annual reports, a cancer-care community and a vegan festival.

Marketing that looks like the room the deals happen in

Marketing lead designer for Brand #1 itself, not its client sites · 2023–2026, remote with a team in the US

THE PROBLEM

Brand #1 sells serious commerce work to brands like big consumer brands. Its own marketing (site, ads, sales decks, events) had to look as serious as those deals, and stay consistent everywhere.

MY ROLE

I owned the brand system and everything it touched: website and landing pages, every paid ad, case-study assets, sales decks, events, reports, social and internal brand.

HOW I WORKED
  • Test, then commit. Every ad and landing page went out as a test. When a direction won, the system moved toward it.
  • Lead with proof. Cold ads led with the client's one number (a client live in 120 days, a retailer in 31) instead of our logo.
  • Borrow what people know. Minesweeper, a breakup text, a rubber duck on a billboard, so a dry replatforming risk lands in one glance.
Result: one brand system ran the site, campaigns, sales decks, events and reports for 3.5 years, including a 22-page benchmark report with a partner and a 41-page toolkit with commerce.

Making a fintech talk like a person

Brand and campaign design; design lead on the industry report 2022 · 2021–2023, the city

THE PROBLEM

EMIs are a spreadsheet until someone talks like a person. Brand #4 needed one language that could hold a testimonial, a travel meme, a contest and a sales deck. It also had a year of data on how India buys now and pays later, sitting in a spreadsheet.

WHAT I DID
  • Led design on the 52-page industry report 2022 with two designers I managed: set the look and page system, split the chapters, kept every spread in one voice.
  • testimonials: faces first, product in the caption, not the layout.
  • Borrowed rooms people already love, like Friends as traveller types, so BNPL at the airport didn't read like a lecture.
Result: shipped the 52-page report with a three-person team, and the brand voice ran across social, contests and sales decks.

An esports org for women, built from one smiling U

Identity, guidelines, decks, socials and the limited edition · 2021, Kuala Lumpur

THE PROBLEM

A brand-new org had to look credible to sponsors on day one and welcoming to the women it was built for, in a scene where most esports marks look like they want to fight you.

DECISIONS
  • Skipped the shields, fangs and fire. The U splits into two eyes and a grin: a face hidden in the wordmark that smiles without becoming a mascot.
  • 45° cuts so it stitches cleanly on a jersey; one red, one ink.
  • Made the brand physical: a limited edition box with the jersey, sent to the first gamers in the community.
Result: by mid-2021 the identity carried an org of 48 talents with 2.5M combined followers, on jerseys co-branded with a sportswear brand and in sponsor decks.

The pages people keep

Report and identity design for a Malaysian studio · 2020, Kuala Lumpur

International clients don't want an agency deck. They want the file they'll print, in their language. I designed a 74-page German annual report for a developer abroad and a company book for a Saudi construction group.

Result: two print-ready long documents: sitEX's 2022 Geschäftsbericht and a builder's company book.

Sales tools a US team could actually send

Senior designer, US sales marketing · 2019–2021, the city

A seller at 4pm can't attach a 40-slide deck and hope. I made what they could send: ebooks, a case-study two-pager and sales comics. I also proposed a new mark, the L-block, the missing piece that helps a business scale.

Result: the sales kit was used by the North American team. The rebrand was presented to the whole company at the all-hands; legal and shifting priorities stopped it shipping.

Campaign #7: a room we invented

Campaign and social, with a copywriter · 2018–2019, the city

Cancer-care social freezes into facts. Caregivers and patients needed a room, a name and a date. With a copywriter I made Campaign #7: the name, the look, venue scouting, the kits and the posts, in one pink and purple voice in every city.

Result: it became a standing brand project in cities across India, and moved online during Covid without changing hands.
7F · BRAND #3

A whole internal brand from one mark

Internal brand and external marketing · 2017–2018, the city

Internal brands usually die as a slide titled "Our Values". I built the whole internal language from one mark: a simple human figure that also reads as the letter i, so every value could be drawn with it.

Result: one mark carried values, patterns, visiting cards, staff IDs, envelopes and an eight-template HR banner system, from welcome to leave.

Bangalore's vegan fest: an eye with a leaf

Logo, branding and socials · 2017–2018, the city

Festival brands go loud and then look like every other weekend. The mark, an eye with a leaf, had to work on a flyer next to the venue's logo and on a stage wall behind a singer.

Result: the identity carried two editions, year one and Bangalore 2.0, from posters and stickers to the stage wall.

The gallery of smaller things

Landing pages, brand looks and social, across India, the US and Malaysia

Not every idea earns a twelve-slide story. A landing page and brand look for an architecture SaaS, a portrait system for a task app, ice-cream lettering and an education feed for Brand #12.

ROOF · LOOKING AHEAD

Next floor: yours?

I'm looking for a brand or design lead role, remote or in Bangalore. If your team needs someone to build the system and the campaigns that run on it, say hi.

HOW I WORK
  • Start with the business problem and the one thing someone should remember.
  • Build the system, so a whole team can make good calls without me in the room.
  • Use AI for speed, and own the taste, the checks and the final call.
